Vintage Italian 800 Solid Silver Doctor Figurine 313 grams Bausi Bruno 1949-68

Description

Just out of a local smoke free house is this fine Mid Century solid 800 silver figurine of a bespectacled Doctor holding a stethoscope on an onyx base. The figurine has the 800 silver mark and the Italian makers mark. This mark is listed as the workshop of Bausi Bruno of Firenze Italy. The marks correspond to those used from 1949-1968. It also has the mark A.B. The silver figurine was removed from the base to determine the weight of the silver. The figurine weighs about 313 grams or about 10 ounces. We do not know if the threaded bolts on the figure are silver. It was then reinstalled on its onyx base. The figurine on its base measures about 8 1/2 inches tall, about 4 7/16 inches wide, and about 3 9/16 inches deep. The silver figure is in excellent condition. The onyx base has some bruises.
