    Description

In December 1961, during the Albany Georgia civil rights demonstrations, as MLK was being processed for jail, this badge was given to my father-in-law by MLK as a friendly token of the day. It was among the persoal pocessions being inventoried before incarseration. My father-in-law was a police officer on the Albany police force.
