Description

The Huacos or native whistling vessels of northern Peru are pre-Inca clay instruments whose main mechanism of operation depends on the use of water (containers related to one or more whistles and nozzles). Its multiple combinations and iconic symbols give sound characteristics that no other type of aerophone has on a global scale, they also contain encrypted the powers of the four elements: it is modeled with mud and water, cooked on fire and once the instrument is fed through the air that moves through a whistle (the four elements, the four directions, the four winds, the four roads)
