    Beautiful, brightly colored, Peruvian arpillera, a framed, folk art patchwork quilt with wonderful crocheted & embroidered details
    Includes 10 3-dimentional figures/dolls, 5 with baskets, in a daily life, farm town setting
    Includes trees, mountains with sun, houses, animals, and plants
    "SIERRA" is embroidered in red, top center
    Turquoise blanket stitch all the way around the edge, then a green yarn crocheted edge
    Quilt size: 19" x 20"
    Being sold by estate of the Southern California owner who bought it through UNICEF in the 1980s.
    Lucite box frame measures: 23.75" x 24.25" x 3", and has 4 screw eyes on back, with wire.
    Quilt has been invisibly tacked with 20 stitches to a tan linen fronted hardboard backing
