    Description

Here is a print from the Aug. 14, 1880 edition of Harper's weekly magazine that is printed on newsprint and measures approx. 7 5/8" by 10 1/8".  Depicted is a black soldier dressed in his uniform  and standing outside of a hair cutting salon as a crowd beholds him.  Based on the drawing by H.P. Wolcott with text on the reverse.  A lovely piece that is in very good condition and very suitable for framing which I'll leave up to you.
There's a small edge tear on its upper right border which can easily be cropped or matted out and does not detract.  Thanks for looking at this auction.
