    Description

    Pair of 2 hand carved wood pelicans.  These beautiful dark rich wood sculptures are carved from Ironwood, indigenous to Mexico.  One pelican has beak raised and the other has it's beak pulled in tight.  The raised beak pelican measures 5 3/4" tall.  The lowered beak pelican measures 4" tall.  They are both in nice condition with no damage.  Both of these wood sculptures show a lot of ironwood grain. On the pelican with the lowered beak one side has a wider grain so not polished as shiny while the other side is very tight grain and has a high polished shine.
