MILITARY USAF FLYING GOGGLE LENS POLOROID B-8 GREEN YELLOW AND CLEAR

Description

These USAF B-8 Flying goggle lens are made of plastic.  They are flexible and shatter resistant.  Some of them have been used and have some scratch marks.  They were recommended to remove dust and prints by breathing on the lens ad wiping with a soft, clean cloth.  There are three different goggles for the B-8 and are all polaroid.  The green (XG30), Yellow (X468) and the Clear (XC92).  The light green for glare protection on normal days, dark green polarizing for glare protection on exceeding bright days and red non polarizing 'dark adapter' eyes to night vision.  The lens come in a cloth snapped container marked 'LENSES B-8 FLYING GOGLE PROPERTY OF THE U.S.A.F.  LENSES FOR THE B-8 GOGGLE ARE MADE OF PLASTIC- FLEXIBLE AND SHATER RESISTAND REMOVE DUST AND FINGERPRINTS BY BREATHING ON THE LENS AND WIFING WITH A SOFT CLEAN CLOTH Z126'.  The lens measures approx. 7 1/2 x 3".   All items are sold as is.
