    Description

For bid is an original March 1921 issue of a rare Florida LSA boy's magazine:  "The FLORIDA SCOUT: The South's Foremost Boys' Magazine."  Magazine has 12 total pages including the covers.  Magazine is printed on rather pulpy paper with yellow covers.  Long article in the magazine about LONE SCOUTS of AMERICA by Olin L. Joslen.  Other articles by Lone Scouts of America leaders in this magazine.  Some local advertising, etc.  This appears to have been some kind of sister organization that operated independently of the BSA.  Printed on very low quality paper.  Some advertising.  An article about magic.
The Lone Scouts of America operated from 1915 to 1924 when it merged with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).
The magazine got to Salt Lake City, Utah and someone at a store in SLC stamped his name and address a few times with a date of May 14, 1921 (in red ink).
Rare publication published in Sanford, Florida.  RARE scouting publication printed on low quality paper.  Rare piece of history.
