Humminbird 788ci fish finder/GPS chart plotter with accessories and RAM mount.
This is a used Humminbird 788ci that I used on a small houseboat from 2012-2016. It has 298 hours of use (75 per year). I was amazed at the accuracy of the GPS plotter. I am an instrument rated commercial pilot and one night during pea soup fog (10’ vis) I followed my previous track back to the marina and into my slip just like a CAT III approach. Unbelievable precision for a non-aviation product. The underwater mapping and ability to identify the size of the fish, the water temperature, the crisp mapping software reminded me what a great purchase I made every time I used it. I got rid of the boat and kept the Humminbird thinking that I may get another boat one day. I’m sure one day when I move to Northern Idaho and get another boat that I’ll regret selling this, but it’s been setting in a box for 5 years and needs a new home. It was working great when I removed it from the boat and I powered it back up today to take these photos and it is working like a charm.
