    Description

Presented is a wonderful set of 12 Spanish silver luncheon knives made in the
1930s-1950s.  Each knife has a great, beautiful stainless steel blade and silver
handles.  The silver is 916 silver purity, approximately that of sterling.
These luncheon knives come from a Spanish flatware set, and all the pieces were
marked 916 purity silver except the knives.  We have tested the knife handles
and we guarantee they are 916 purity as well.  The rest of the set is no longer
with the knives.  The pattern depicts a swag, flowers and acanthus leaves
framing an elegant border, and is really quite tasteful.  All the knives are
monogrammed with the letter F in bold font.
The blades are all marked Firth Stainless.  As mentioned earlier, the
knives come from a Spanish flatware set in which all the pieces but the knives
were marked for the location of manufacture and 916 silver purity.  We have
tested the handles with nitric acid and guarantee the handles to be 916 silver.
The condition is excellent.  The stainless steel blades have very light
surface wear associated with light use.  There is surface wear to the silver
handles associated with light to moderate usage, but the decorations are still
very crisp.  There are no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The knives measure approximately 8 1/2 inches long.
The total weight of the knives is 20.365 ounces or 577.1 grams.  This
weight includes the stainless steel blades, the silver handles, and any filler
    in the silver handles.
