The history of the Peruvian people in ancient times was told through story telling... The depiction of cultural life thru carvings with gourds has been used for hundreds of years. This handmade Peruvian “Mother Earth” Gourd is a commonly used symbol. Included is an individual stand that the gourd fits onto for display.
This piece is in very good condition and a beautiful Peruvian piece for display. It measures 7” tall from base, 4 1/2 inches across and 13” in circumference.
