    Edwin Forbes (1839-1895) - Rare Original 1876 Copper Plate Etching
    "Gone off With the Yankees, A Scouting Party, An Old Campaigner, A land flowing with milk and honey".
    Plate measures 17.5" X 12"; 19 X 15" overall.  Vertical line and toning spots; Foxing and toning throughout.  This large sized etching was part of a series of  retrospective images introduced at the Centennial Exposition of 1876.
