Divine figural silver toothpick holder designed in the form of a standing pig. It has a lid to which forms the belly, please not that it does not close tightly, see pictures please. It has an opening at the snout to take out the toothpicks. The silverwork is in excellent vintage condition, wonderful matt finish. It has an almost imperceptible tiny fissure marked in picture at the clasp hole, mentioned for completeness but do not detract from the beauty of the piece. It is fully hallmarked with Portuguese silver marks and silversmith’s mark at the bottom and lid. It measures 4” long, 2 1/8” high & 1 1/8” thick, weight 2.14oz (approx. 10.3 cm long, 5.5 cm high and 3 cm thick, weight 60.8 grams). Rare and lovely piece!
