    Description

Amazing condition for a cigar tin from the 1900's era. This is a hinged top tin that was shipped to retail store owners. The cigars were from the Cordove Company who made a variety of Honeycomb Class cigars. The cigars in this tin were their Perfectos.
The company had a factory in Denver, Colorado by 1907, but this tin says manufactured in Virginia. I was unable to find information further explaining that history.
The mustard yellow tin has two gorgeous peacocks on the side panels. On the still present paper label on the inside of the lid, the company boasts about the workmanship and quality of their product and finishes by saying, "It's a Bird".
This tin has only traces of rust, no dents, and a lid that closes well. There are certainly surface scratches, scuffs, scrapes from over 115 years of use and storage. Please inspect the photos for condition.
    Dimensions are 7" x 3 1/2" x 5 1/4".
Ships with USPS Priority mail, signature required.
