Description
Presented is a fabulous Spanish Colonial silver creamer or small milk pitcher. This piece dates to around 1790-1825 and is likely of Guatemalan or similar make, though we are not sure. The creamer is done emulating a slightly earlier European style, as is typical of colonial pieces. The creamer is balustroid in form, with a stylized dolphin or fish form scroll handle. The creamer is spotlessly clean, inside and out. This piece is in great overall condition. There are a couple of minor dings around the widest point of the body, and possibly a dent removal visible from the interior but not the exterior. There are no splits, no leaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no solder repairs.
The creamer is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it and guarantee it to be at least 800-850 purity silver, likely higher.
The creamer stands about 3 1/4 inches tall.
This piece weighs 214 grams or 7.5 regular ounces.
