The auction was able to tell me that the artist is a Black American artist and patron of people with mental health issues. I see this reflected in this abstract piece. If I were to title this Stigma seems fitting.

    Description

This original work of art is done in bright colors and black line with many eyes looking out from hidden places.
The artist is not one that is well known but I was told that she was given most of her art supplies in order to create her work. The artist is an African American artist.  There may be a title on the back of the piece but I did not take the professionally assembled frame apart to look.  It is an acrylic piece that measures approx. 12" x 16" and is matted in a 19"  x 23"  solid wood frame.
The seller said that the artist was a patron for those in the mental health community.
