    DESCRIPTION:
    This listing is for a sterling silver repousse  salt cellar made in London England in 1743.  It is marked with the lion passant for sterling, town mark for London, lower case h for 1743 and an unidentifiable mark for the maker.  The inside surface appears to have been gold washed at some time.
    CONDITION:  The piece is in excellent
    antique condition;  it has been polished by hand and is almost free of any dings, scratches or dents.  (Please see pictures.)
    SIZE:  2 3/8" diameter;  1 3/8"  high.   My scales:  total: 1.84 oz tr.
