Description

An amazing Black Americana folk art oil on cardboard painting measuring approximately 9 7/8 x 7 15/16 inches and 11 5/16 x 9 3/8 inches in its entirety.  Last origin was Washington DC area and prior origin was Florida.  A black hair is pictured in the painting under a loupe.  Nails date this to early 19th century.  Nails appear original and have not been hammered recently.  Some water staining on top and and in very good condition for its age.  Thanks for looking at this amazing painting.
