    Description

Presented is an elegant antique Danish silver serving spoon or platter spoon made by C. Holm of Copenhagen. Holm was working as a silversmith from 1893 to 1937. The spoon is beautifully engraved with bright cut leaves.
It is hallmarked on the reverse with the three tower mark for Danish silver including the year mark for 1901, the assay master’s mark of SG for Simon Groth, and a maker’s mark of C. Holm.
The spoon has some surface wear commensurate with age and light use as well as some small dings on the bowl. Otherwise, the condition is excellent. There are no major dents, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
The spoon is 11 inches long.
The weight is 82 grams or 2.9 ounces.
