SIZE:7” in height by 5" in width DESCRIPTION: A cinnamon brown Chimu stirrup handled four lobed bottle comprised of four plump pepinos resting on their pointed tips. The jar is profusely decorated with charcoal black designs including vertical, horizontal, and circular fine lines as well as enclosed rows of spirals around the top of each fruit. Numerous dendrites attest to its great antiquity. There is minor paint loss in various areas due to ancient usage. A charming well designed and executed artifact.
