Presented is a heavy weight, Dutch silver ladle made in 1899 by J.M. Van Kempen & Zoon. The curved back handle has a classical beaded border. This piece is very fine quality.
The back is marked with the Dutch Minerva head mark, the lion passant for .833 purity silver, a date letter P for the year 1899 and a maker’s mark for JM Van Kempen & Zoon.
This piece is in virtually mint condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The ladle measures 11 1/2 inches long and weighs 231 grams or 8.1 ounces.
